How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


The HRSS specialist will handle critical HR support functions including, but not limited to, new hire onboarding, employee updates, and will serve as tier 2 support for the HR Service Desk. To accomplish these tasks, Specialists will interact with associates and business partners, assisting them with HR processes and facilitating transactions in Workday.


Job Functions include


  • Position is expected to be hybrid remote, limited travel may be required
  • Additional duties outside of Workday and ServiceNow, to be identified
  • Assist the HR Service Desk as next level support for escalations
  • Identify solutions and suggest improvements to processes which will add value to the business
  • Actively maintain Support Services queue through HR applications (Workday and ServiceNow)
  • Execute tasks and objectives to achieve service level agreement (SLA) marks
  • Demonstrate effective customer service and communication via phone, email, chat, and in person
  • Develop a strong knowledge of department, business units and overall business strategy
  • Maintains a general working knowledge of data privacy best practices, with a willingness to learn the applicable HR and payroll specificities
  • Monitor actions that are in process to ensure proper follow-up and resolution
  • Exercise judgment and take responsibility for decisions and actions
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external team members to ensure integrated approach to HR services including but not limited to the facilitation of pre-hire qualification process, onboarding, transfers, terminations, random screening, and credentialing process.

  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, requesting clarification when needed
  • Ability to review processes objectively and recommend more efficient methods
