Job Description

We are looking for a HR Specialist, who will report to the Alignment Manager, and provide HR generalist support across the Home Office organization. The Specialist will leverage strong relationships and the ability to handle multiple priorities to support the people management of aligned functions, focused on building leadership capabilities within the organization. Areas of focus include but are not limited to supporting our HR Business Partners on tasks related to systems/process, employee relations, data analysis, and other ad-hoc requests. Key partners include staff and leadership teams across multiple functions.

In this role, you will:

  • Support a culture of engagement within the Center HR team and the functions they support
  • Take raw data to create a simplified message to support HR Business Partners and the client groups in decision-making
  • Prepare presentations and reporting to support HR Business Partner for key meetings or business requests
  • Partner with the Alignment Manager to support talent planning processes with a focus on achieving diversity practices
  • Assess the gaps between business needs and people systems/capabilities within function and uses information to drive appropriate actions
  • Partner with Center HR Leaders to support the annual compensation and bonus process
  • Support initial employee relations to ensure a consistent application of policy and practice, including employee investigations, progressive discipline and problem resolution
  • Actively support execution of the enterprise strategic plan, ensuring that People are positioned to get results
  • Support Human Resources Business Partners on people initiatives (e.g., systems support, development, employee relations, creating meaningful workstreams from data to provide insight) to ensure that they align with the people strategy
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to adapt approach to meet needs of audience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Experience in HR, specifically in an HR Generalist role or similar facet of HR
  • Demonstrated ability to create relationships
  • Deep knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other HR Systems
  • Significant experience working with all levels of the organization and possess platform skills, presence, and confidence.
  • Experience with creating presentations
  • Independent management and ability to successfully complete multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Adept at forging a cross approach and aligning team members/resources
  • Adapts to changes in priorities with ease, comfortable working “in the gray” while defining the way forward
