Job Description

In this position, you will provide technical and advisory services to a Federal client pertaining to the USA Staffing (Upgrade) system. Tasks will include:

  • Provide User Support; review questions or system errors submitted by users; identify system glitches; and work with OPM help desk to resolve larger system issues.
  • Ensure information populated in the USA Staffing is compliant with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) guidelines, is grammatically correct, and usable for multiple recruitment efforts.
  • Provide Administrative Support; create or revise user accounts; reset passwords.
  • Participate in user training and job aid development.
  • Provide advisory services including identifying and recommending process or template revisions to improve hiring timelines, user experience, and increasing quality and accuracy of recruitment and onboarding materials.
  • Oversee Library Maintenance; revise, add, or remove Assessment, Announcement, Task, Offer Letter, and Instruction templates in the administrative area of USA Staffing; support the Agency in developing and maintaining a Position Description (PD), Job Announcement (JA), and question library.

Job Requirements

  • Experience performing Federal staffing and onboarding duties within USA Staffing Upgrade is required.
  • Three (3) years of Federal HR experience, at least 2 of which must be specialized experience in the area in which work is to be performed. Operational experience includes completing job analysis/assessment questionnaires in accordance with hiring managers, drafting,and posting job announcements in USAStaffing, performing qualifications adjudications, issuing selection certificates and issuing job offers.
  • Experience serving as a Super User, USA Staffing trainer, or System Administrator/User Support Contact is desired.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Attention to detail, data quality, and data integrity.
  • Ability to apply and interpret Federal HR laws, policies, and agency-specific operating procedures.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expert knowledge of USA Staffing Upgrade, to include the New Hire module.
