In this role, you will join a fast-paced Human Resources analytics team as an HR Reporting & Data Integration Analyst and serve as the Workday HCM data and reporting subject matter expert. This experienced candidate will have strong expertise in developing and maintaining simple to complex reports and dashboards specifically but not limited to matrix, composite, scorecards, and analytical indicators utilizing Workday’s report writer as well as other tools and available technologies. You will be an expert in building and maintaining complex calculated fields and have a solid understanding of the relationships within Workday’s Business Objects. In addition, this role will also support other areas of HR reporting including Tableau developed reports and dashboards from a data quality perspective, as well as data migration and transformation into our cloud environment. This role will be a liaison to Business Technology to support new and existing data from Workday to our data warehouse for continued use in advanced reporting and analytics development. As a Lead Reporting & Analytics Developer, you will also be responsible for understanding and supporting data stewardship initiatives and the importance of security for all HR data the team manages. A successful team member will be extremely detail orientated, flexible with continuous process / system changes and comprehend the abilities and limitations from a reporting perspective.

Responsible for creating reporting solutions and partnering with technology teams to manage Human Resources data and reporting technologies. Designs and develops analyses on the employee population, including demographic profiles, turnover ratios, activity reports, and recruitment data. Partners with internal clients to address reporting needs. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities

  • Creates report solutions
  • Manages HR data warehouse architecture in partnership with technology team.
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and validates data discrepancies between data sources. Provides solutions to improve accuracy and usability of data.
  • Develops self service tools that enable users to interact with data sets, process data, and generate reports.
  • Utilizes tools and automation to satisfy key compliance data requirements.
  • Consults with internal clients on the development of analytics including: needs assessments, programming, and delivery of report solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • 2+ years of experience in Reporting, analytics, relational and multi-dimensional databases, report writing software, internal client requirements, developing data-driven solutions, report building, HRIS systems or related
  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in HR Analytics and reporting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Analytics, Statistics or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of data stewardship and security for all HR data the team manages
  • Strong expertise in developing and maintaining simple to complex reports and dashboards specifically but not limited to matrix, composite, scorecards, and analytical indicators utilizing Workday’s report writer as well as other tools and available technologies
  • Workday Report Writer experience
  • Previous Snowflake or similar data warehouse experience
  • Prior HR experience in a data/analytics/reporting role
