Job Description
The Summary


Calling all HR Enthusiasts! Join our team as an HR Generalist and be the added ingredient in our recipe for a successful and harmonious workplace. You'll be the wearer of many hats - from being a talent acquisition guru to an ambassador for employee happiness. You will untangle office puzzles like a pro, and ensure rules are followed without the stuffy vibes. You will help craft seamless onboarding/offboarding experiences, have a touch of organizational wizardry, and whip up engagement initiatives that even introverts love. The Tasks


  • Assures fair and consistent administration of all human resources policies and practices.
  • Manages payroll provider and bi-weekly submittal of payroll and any payroll audits.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Performs recruitment activities which include posting open positions, reviewing resumes, screening applicants as well as setting up/coordinating any interviews with hiring managers.
  • Support HR initiatives centered around employee engagement, employment law compliance, talent management, process improvement, policy interpretation, etc.
  • Lives and leads with values that enhance the culture of the organization.
  • Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Manages the onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintains accurate records within HRIS system and prepares any necessary reports.
  • Provides day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling.


The Requirements


  • Strong organizational, problem solving, project management and follow-up skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to exercise the utmost discretion in matters of confidentiality.
  • Broad knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Willingness to think outside the box.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Solid knowledge across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Minimum of two years directly related human resources experience.
  • Payroll processing experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification a plus
  • Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Have a desire to learn, accept new challenges, and have fun.
