Job Description
Shimmick is seeking a highly talented HR Generalist / HRIS Admin based out of Denver, CO. This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of the city.

Responsibilities


The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed action plans.
  • Performs most assignments independently with instruction on the general expected results.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
  • Works independently to craft solutions.
  • Independently advises operations on complex HR matters and is relied on heavily for individual's expertise.
  • Proactively plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed functions of human resources (HR) duties for large location or multiple offices in a geography.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Alternatively, incumbent may also be in this career level if he/she carries out complex or novel assignments in their assigned location or works on strategic HR projects for the organization.
  • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.


Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience and technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
  • Experience with HRIS system implementation (UKG (UltiPro), Oracle Cloud, Epicor, or similar software).
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required + F our (4) years of related experience.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Experience with Oracle or UKG preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


Additional Information


  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

The salary range for this position is between $75,000 - 95,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.

Additional voluntary benefit offerings include pet insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness insurance, legal and identity theft protection.


These benefits are available to all employees working more than 20 hours per week. Employees working less than 20 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage as well as EAP services.
