Hr Assistant - Remote | Wfh

We're looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join our team! As our HR Assistant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our employees have an exceptional experience from recruitment through to offboarding. You'll work closely with our General Manager and Ownership team to ensure that our HR operations run smoothly.
As an HR Assistant, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, policy implementation, and employee law compliance. You'll help us maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations, and you'll be a go-to resource for our employees when they have questions or concerns.
Here are some of the performance responsibilities you can expect in this role:
Provide day-to-day HR support to our team
Help us implement policies and systems that will support our HR operations
Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires
Act as an employee relations specialist, helping to resolve conflicts and concerns
Ensure that we're complying with all relevant employment and benefits laws and regulations
Monitor employee performance and conduct evaluations
Support the administration of employee benefits programs
Assist With Workers' Compensation Cases And Other Compliance Issues
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with 2-5 years of HR experience, including direct involvement in employee relations. You should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be a creative problem solver, and have excellent organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel is a must, and experience with industry standard HR software and service providers is preferred.
