A Housing Inspector is responsible for completing housing inspections for various subsidized housing programs.

Must clearly and accurately document compliance to housing standards as defined by HUD and client.

$50,000 - $60,000 yearly

• Perform on-site home walk-throughs of vacant and occupied homes including room measurements, identifying material defects, and qualitative attributes about a property and direct area
• Completing written reports using a standardized template and taking detailed photos

• Strong writing and communication skills– ability to concisely convey property conditions in a standardized report format
• Ability to follow a schedule and be available periodically throughout the day – weekend availability a plus
• Experience working with single-family rental operators is a plus
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
