Home Health Aide Needed In Upper Brookville, Ny: Sign-On Bonus $250

Alliance Homecare is looking for a Certified Home Health Aide to work with a female client in Upper Brookville, NY

$22 per hour / $250 sign-on bonus

Client M:

Client M had a stroke 14 years ago but is able to make her needs know, lives with her husband and son. HHA must be okay with cats, and familiar with the hoyer lift. We offer starting day training on this client to get everyone acclimated to each other and familiar with care plan. We are looking for a dedicated HHA from 10am-6pm Mon-Friday.

Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
• Assist with toileting including the use of bedpan, commode or toilet
• Observe and report all changes to RN
• Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice
• Provide routine skin care
• Measure and record vital signs as directed
• Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands
• Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
• Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
• Assist with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker and wheelchair

HHA Job Requirements:

• Fluency in English
• Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
• Must have at least one year of HHA experience
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
