The Opportunity:


We're currently seeking a full-time portfolio manager with at least two years of industry experience. The ideal candidate is organized, assertive, understands legal requirements, and excels in proactive community management.


Responsibilities:


As a community manager at HOA Organizers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning and enhancement of the communities we manage. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Site Inspections and Walk-Through Reports: Conduct regular site inspections to assess the community's condition and prepare comprehensive reports detailing observations and recommendations.
  • Meeting Agendas: Prepare comprehensive meeting agendas that cover relevant topics and facilitate productive discussions.
  • Identifying Property Concerns: Keep a keen eye on potential property issues, anticipating challenges, and implementing proactive solutions.
  • Attendance at Board of Directors Meetings: Be an active participant in Board of Directors meetings, offering insights and expertise to contribute to community growth.
  • Board of Directors Packages: Assemble informative packages for Board of Directors meetings, providing essential information for informed decision-making.
  • Property Governance Issues: Handle governance matters with utmost diligence, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Tracking Action Items: Stay on top of action items resulting from meetings and ensure timely follow-up and completion.
  • Soliciting Proposals: Gather and evaluate proposals from vendors and service providers to ensure the community receives the best possible services.
  • Communication with Board of Directors and Homeowners: Maintain open and clear communication with the Board of Directors and homeowners, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare Year-End Financial Reviews: Gather and organize financial data, analyze expenses and revenue, and prepare detailed year-end financial reports for the community's financial performance review.


Qualifications:


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Certified Community Manager (CCAM and/or CMCA preferred)
  • Organized, punctual, and tech-savvy with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, etc. (preferred)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Minimum two years of property management experience
