Helpdesk Technician Jobs

RMC is hiring a Helpdesk Technician in Dahlgren, VA. The selected applicant will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a professional relationship with all customers and clients in a very busy call center environment
• Documenting internal procedures
• Supporting the maintenance of multiple classrooms including reconfiguring furniture layouts, cabling, general upkeep
• Installation and configuration of new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
• Providing technical support by responding to and resolving end-user problems
• Effective use of Help Desk tracking and ticketing system(s)
• Assisting with the onboarding of new users
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Effective verbal and written communication

One (1) year of Systems Administration and/or IT Help Desk Experience and DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) is required. The selected applicant must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies.

Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

RMC employees may be subject to COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements in order to access government facilities.
