Help Desk Technician
This is a full-time salaried position. Normal hours are Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00pm, but projects may go
over from time to time. The position includes on average 30% travel in and around the Greater
Baton Rouge area. Candidate must have own reliable transportation.
Ideal candidates will have no less than 2 years of experience in the IT industry. A thorough
grasp of modern workstation troubleshooting methodologies is a must.
Responsibilities will include:
- Respond to end user support tickets and resolve issues including but not limited to hardware
failures, training issues, virus/spyware cleaning, operating system and application support.
- Basic server administration: Password resets, account creations, email setups, onsite
hardware replacement/maintenance.
- Network Printer troubleshooting and administration.
- Escalate advanced issues to the Network Engineer Team
Skill Requirements:
Windows client operating systems: Windows 10 and later in a domain environment
Microsoft Office 365 tenant management along with installation and troubleshooting the
Microsoft Office Suite.
PC workstation hardware, experience with Dell, HP and Lenovo a plus.
Windows server OS: 2016, 2019 & 2022 administration and basic maintenance
Backup methodologies, hardware and practices
Network Printers and shared device troubleshooting (Wireless Access Points, hard drives,
switches, etc...)
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
A+ or Net+ certified
Microsoft Certifications a plus
