Job Description

We are running a search for a $10B+ Long/Short Equity Hedge Fund in NYC that is interested in adding an Analyst to their team and reporting into their CIO on Business and Portfolio Analysis.


We are currently seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing analytics and supporting strategic initiatives of the group, specifically related to our long/short equity investing teams. What you’ll do:

  • Help execute the strategic agenda for the broader CIO group
  • Collaborate across the broader CIO team, including with talent recruiting, professional development, operations, compliance and others
  • Deliver process excellence across the team’s critical workflows, including daily analytics, capital allocation, and business planning
  • Develop portfolio construction insights and recommendations to firm management and portfolio managers
  • Continuously evaluate the construction and returns of the firm’s long/short equity portfolios
  • Perform analytics on portfolios, markets, and business units


Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Investment Management, or Equity Research.
