Data Scientist Jobs

We are seeking a Data Scientist, you’ll play a critical role in building the next generation of automotive technology. Engaging with teams across the organization, you’ll help build and launch data products and solutions - from identifying problems, to defining and structuring data, to developing use-cases, to analyzing results. You’ll create a process around storing and cleaning data, designing models and algorithms, applying machine learning, and introducing and implementing exploratory techniques.
For this position we’re looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or another quantitative field required; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models
• Experience using statistics, propensity model building, and algorithms to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks to recommend business-growth campaigns
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on using disparate data sources
• Experience working with and creating data sets

In this role you will:

• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Build and implement models, use and create algorithms to apply to data sets and run simulations.
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of marketing techniques, business strategies and sales tactics.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes and campaign effectiveness.
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, sales targeting and other business outcomes.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Drive business results with data-based models, analysis and insights, working with stakeholders from departments including consumer revenue, product, content, advertising and analytics to improve business outcomes using and developing a new integrated data platform as well as the customer data platform and using tools and techniques.
• Develop materials – presentations, communications, reports, etc. to explain findings.
