Role Overview
As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in processing a variety of medical documents, particularly Independent Medical Reviews. Your responsibilities will include accurately extracting and entering data into our electronic database using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word. You'll collaborate both independently and with your team members to address inquiries, document relevant information, and ensure timely completion of cases. Your critical thinking skills will be essential in determining next steps, and you'll have the opportunity to reach out to clients via phone to obtain any missing information.
What You'll Need
Proficiency in using computers, spreadsheets, and reliable internet connectivity
Comfort with working in a metrics-driven environment
Experience in data entry, claims processing, or high-volume customer service is a plus
High School Diploma
Key Responsibilities
Process medical documents, focusing on Independent Medical Reviews
Accurately extract and input data using Microsoft Excel and Word
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case resolution
Employ critical thinking to determine next steps and communicate with clients as needed
Uphold patient privacy and HIPAA regulations
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
Requirements
Reliable high-speed internet
Personal computer or laptop for work purposes
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
Previous experience in remote healthcare roles, such as insurance or claims, is desirable
