Job Description

Position: Hardware Engineer
Location: New York New York (Hybrid 2 days a Week)
Duration: Long term

  • Strong Linux Embedded Device Administrator (Familiar with Debian, Ubuntu, Yocto based environments), comfortable with command line interface
  • Project Organization, familiar with Github, Bitbucket, Jira, and Asana collaborative dev tools
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and industrial communication standards (TCP, UDP, Modbus, Analog, Digital Inputs / Outputs)
  • Can understand, review, and provide feedback on embedded system(s) programming languages ( C / C++ / Python Development)
  • Ability to debug/multitask PCBs, systems engineering, rapid prototyping
  • Thrives in a small team, independent problem solver, and knack for learning a new system(s), architecture, off the shelf solutions
  • Ability to travel to job sites
  • Familiarity with low power wide area networks (NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, 5G)
  • Strong experience in Embedded Systems, Hardware / Manufacturing test development,
  • Bachelor / Masters in Electrical / Computer Engineering
