Job Description

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT:

This assignment is a US government contract which requires all applicants to be US citizens.


NO SUBCONTRACT REQUIREMENT:

No third-party applicants will be considered. If you are a third party contracting company, please do not respond to this position.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and develop electrical components and subsystems for display products.
  • Develop detailed circuit board specifications, LRU level specifications, ICD's, and test plans.
  • Perform technology research, feasibility assessments, and detailed hardware design requirements definition.
  • Lead design, development, and test electronic H/W products, components, and subsystems.
  • Develop circuit card assembly schematics, layout guidelines, and support CCA layout.
  • Develop concepts to support advanced technology initiatives, IRADS, proposals, and demonstrators.
  • Support concurrent engineering reviews and trade studies.
  • Strong record keeping skills with commitment to tracking design changes, debug status, H/W and S/W revisions.
  • Develop engineering design fixes, and coordinate solutions.
  • Support concept to production H/W including requirements analysis, electronic design, debug, test, and qualification.
  • Support component selection, procurement, and oversight of prototype hardware build.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to use engineering development and test tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering. Other technical degrees will be considered with relevant experience.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Background in analog and digital circuit design and video/graphics interface design is preferred.
  • Capable of obtaining a security clearance.
  • Completing understanding of change release and ability to work multiple organizations to secure complete and efficient release of new products and updated existing products TDP.
  • Background with microcontrollers, single board computers, and graphic controllers/interfaces is preferred.
  • Full knowledge of using the Teamcenter tool.
  • Knowledge and experience in display technologies and products (LCD, OLED, LED).
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with display technologies and video distribution techniques preferred.
  • Occasional overtime, and weekend hours may be required to complete critical tasks.
  • 3-5 years experience.
  • Familiarity with military standards and test requirements.
  • Must meet ASR requirements to work inside vehicles.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills is required.
  • This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.)
  • Works well in team and individually.
  • Previous experience working on ground combat vehicles desired.
  • Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position.
  • Must be able to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime as required.
