Job Description
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Gym and Fitness Programs Coordinator and provide support to two corporate gym locations in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. This individual will provide a high-level of program facilitation of the Fitness Centers including creating, establishing, and facilitating fitness activities and the day-to-day functions including daily classes, fitness plans, fitness video content, coordinating equipment maintenance, membership records and more.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position can be based and onsite in either Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR with up to 20% travel between locations.
The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.41) is $34.87.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports and Fitness Administration, Exercise Science, or a related field is required.
3 years of management experience in the fitness industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate.
Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercise techniques.
Ability to demonstrate exercise techniques and lead classes.
Experience creating, editing and posting fitness video content.
Experience supporting individuals with creating simple fitness plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong customer service skills (customer facing, phone, Outlook and virtual).
