Graphic Production Artist Jobs

Kelly Project Services is actively seeking a Graphic Production Artist for a long term engagement with one of our top clients in NYC.

Primary Responsibilities

• You will release accurate Design Intent files that are accurate to agency vendors
• You will update and maintain brand templates and style guides
• You will build-out the Supplied Design Intent files to the full product portfolio o Working closely with design and production, you will maintain the integrity of design
• You will adhere to deadlines, even when they shift in a changing production environment. Regardless of deadlines, you will consistently deliver precise rounds of revisions and final files for release
• You will review full product lines in the artwork review platform, ensuring consistency and that the design intent is maintained
• Remaining current on latest developments in software applications, printing techniques, production and digital technologies, you are diligent in expanding your knowledge base
• You will update and maintain the production Archives of final design and photography files Please be an advocate to drive and implement environmentally balanced design solutions

Requirements

• A background in packaging is preferred
• Associates or bachelor s degree in Art, Design or equivalent
• High-level understanding of graphic design, including page layout and typography: equal parts technical skill and design sensibility
• Highly skilled and efficient in the use of Adobe CS Suite InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Demonstrated experienced handling multi-language text
• Works well as a team player in a flexible, dynamic, deadline-driven, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment
• Strong time-management skills
• Superior organization skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects with complete accuracy with attention to detail
• 5+ years of related experience, with 3+ years of direct experience in producing mechanical art
• Unwavering attention to detail and quality focused
