Priorities USA seeks a Graphic Designer to join our creative team for the upcoming election cycle. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, the Graphic Designer is a high-level creative thinker and visual storyteller who’s passionate about using their talents to motivate voters across the political spectrum. You’re a driven designer who thrives in a fast-paced design environment and can expertly carry out a wide range of assets across multiple projects.


Job Responsibilities


  • Produce different style guides, presentations, and project visualization for the design team
  • Be flexible and willing to jump in on tasks both above and below your skill level
  • Work collaboratively to implement feedback from cross-functional teams and quickly adapt to changing news cycles and polling results
  • Design for in-house pitch and review decks, social media assets, display ads, GIFs and more
  • Clearly communicate rationale behind proposed design solutions to creatives and non-creatives
  • Review other designers’ work to ensure high quality
  • Track feedback during the review process and ensure on time approvals without sacrificing creativity
  • Lend your creative talents to design brainstorms and creative concept ideation to help bring to life beautiful and compelling creative for a wide array of audiences
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest political news, creative trends, and competitive campaigns
The Ideal Candidate Has


  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates the ability to develop and execute creative concepts in the digital and/or broadcast space and managing other’s design
  • A wide skill set. You’re an expert with both typography and color and understanding of developing effective designs for digital, social, traditional and influencer advertising is key. You’re highly skilled in Adobe design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and presentation software such as Keynote, Powerpoint, and Google Slides. After Effects is also a plus
  • A deep understanding of the many ways content shows up in the digital landscape. You’re a talented hands-on creative, who is a highly conceptual thinker with high emotional intelligence
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized, including clear external and internal file management
  • 2-4+ years of graphic design experience in an ad agency, studio, entertainment, media or political/non-profit environment
  • An equity lens in all aspects of your work and design, and a passion for using creative to affect change
  • A proven ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team

This position will have the option of being remote or working out of our Washington office, with occasional travel as needed. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 dependent on experience. Priorities USA’s competitive benefits package includes 100% of health care premium covered for the employee and 75% for dependents, a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer contributions, paid holidays, and unlimited PTO.
