Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced and talented Designer to join our Marketing team. This person will help design and execute key print and digital design projects across owned channels and advertising. You have a passion for visual storytelling and knowledgeable about trends and best practices for design. You will work across the marketing department to help scale key strategic priorities such as lead generation, SEO and customer engagement. The successful candidate is a self-starter, passionate about customer-centric design, with proven experience in increasing awareness, conversion, and engagement of brand, products or services among all customer audiences at scale through creative execution and design. You are extremely organized and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will work in a cross-functional manner, collaborating with multiple teams to identify priorities across all stages of customer journey to develop content and assets across our marketing channels.


Responsibilities


  • Assist as needed on other marketing initiatives and integrated campaigns.
  • Create, update and maintain creative toolkits and style guides for the team.
  • Follow production/project deadlines and communicate progress with the team.
  • Collaborate across Marketing teams and other internal teams to plan and design content to engage customers, boost brand awareness, and increase web traffic and conversions.
  • Work closely with internal content manger and copywriter as well as outside creative and media agencies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Version and re-size creative assets as needed, including prepping final files for delivery.
  • Apply current and evolving strategic design principles across industries; contribute to strategic recommendations.
  • Design projects as assigned across digital and print platforms.
  • Ensure content is designed in accordance with the Brand guidelines.


Qualifications


  • Exceptional communication, organization, attention to detail and time management skills.
  • At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams.
  • Strong editorial background and proofreading skills, as well as experience adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Understanding of A/B testing practices and taking action based on data.
  • Fluent with Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
  • 3-5+ years’ professional experience as a designer for marketing materials. Preferably at an agency and/or with telecoms experience.
  • Top-notch technical and creative design skills. Working knowledge or wireframing and prototyping.
  • Impressive, multi-faceted content portfolio.
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical school degree in Creative Design or similar.
  • Strong grasp of typography, composition and hierarchy as it relates to customer-centric design.
  • Ability to actively build relationships and influence.
