Whole Latte Love is looking for a creative, talented individual to join our small, lively team in Rochester, NY. Our ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and able to switch directions quickly while keeping pace with our workflow. As our new Graphic Designer, you will create imaginative, strategic, and culturally relevant designs that will push forward both our brand and those of our vendors.

About Whole Latte Love:

Whole Latte Love is the web's largest retailer of espresso machines. Since 1997, we've developed and managed multiple online stores, supporting e-commerce and distribution at national and international levels. We maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, growth-oriented, and offer strong candidates ample opportunities for advancement.

• Applying your understanding of typography, photo editing, layout design, communication design, and brand standards to the implementation and development of email marketing (via Klaviyo Marketing and Shopify’s eCommerce Platform), website banners, web advertisements, social media visuals, brand assets, and other visual design assignments.
• Optimizing email designs, setting them up in our email platform and scheduling them for deployment.
• Designing reusable templates for use by you and your teammates.
• Reviewing all projects daily to identify questions and answers needed to move projects forward.
• Designing for print, as needed.
• Editing imagery to format for digital environments.
• Keeping a pulse on current design trends within but not limited to the coffee industry.
• Owning workload with projects at varying stages and ability to quickly adjust as priorities change.

• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong online portfolio with examples of work that include designing for eCommerce and branding. Any resumes submitted without an electronic portfolio will not be considered.
• Ability to complete projects on schedule that support our brand identities and goals, as well as those of our clients.
• Fluent in design trends and able to adapt to changing market forces.
• 5-8 years of professional experience in graphic design including design for web, brand development, and identity design.
• Bachelor’s degree in a graphic design-related field.
• Extremely organized, self-motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented and able to independently manage a project from conception to production.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite’s design applications, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Flexibility with work assignments and the capability to both organize and complete multiple concurrent tasks within sometimes short time frames.

• Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe XD.
