The Position:

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team supporting the Federal Communications Commission. In the role you will support the Compliance and Oversight Group (COG) with its portfolio of work, including enterprise risk management (ERM) and fraud risk management (FRM). The graphic designer will translate insights from the client team into compelling infographics for distribution throughout the agency. Some responsibilities include:

• Final Delivery: Provide the final version of the infographic and presentation in a high-quality format suitable for its intended use.
• Revisions: Incorporate feedback from relevant stakeholders to revise and refine the infographic/presentation as needed.
• Design/Draft: Create a visually appealing infographics and presentation that effectively communicates the key data and information to the target audience. Draft the initial version of the 508 compliant content, ensuring that it is easy to understand and visually engaging.
• Research: Conduct research to gather relevant data and information to be included in the infographic, and visual storytelling.

• Awareness of ontologies including GAO conceptual fraud model
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
• BA/BS required
• Knowledge of tools like Protégé, D3.js
• Ability to work independently and in a team on client delivery
• Strong infographic design and information architecture experience, incorporating 508 requirements
• Understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) & Fraud Risk Management (FRM) domain
• Conversant with GAO fraud risk framework
• Interest in working with federal clients
• Creative thinker

The Fine Print:

• This is an exempt, full-time position
• Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time
• Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
• Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business needs
