Grand River Health proudly serves residents of Western Colorado and beyond. We are a not-for-profit Special Tax District, formed by the citizens of Western Garfield County in 1961 to serve the area’s health care needs. Our main hospital campus is located in the picturesque Rifle, Colorado with twenty-five beds providing a wide range of services, along with a long-term care center and a satellite campus. While the secret is out that this is a great place to live, the atmosphere of a caring and friendly community has been preserved amidst a steady growth of population.
BASIC FUNCTION: We are seeking a creative and driven Graphic Design Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will use their knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for Grand River Hospital District promotions, advertisements, videos, signage, website and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets. They will work under the guidance of and in collaboration with the Integrated Marketing Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.
• Projects may include but are not limited to: print and digital advertising, direct mail, video, website improvements, and email marketing.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
• Remain up-to-date of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization
• Occasional evening and/or weekend availability for special events.
• Communicating with departments internally to produce informational material branded to the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to achieve quality results under short and sometimes urgent deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management and problem-solving skills
• Strong web design and development skills and a familiarity working in WordPress sites.
• Graduate of a graphic design program or minimum of two years working experience in a similar role.
• Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
• Advanced skill in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, especially Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Must work on-site

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in creating cross-platform digital ad campaigns
• Training in typography and elements of design preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

SALARY INFORMATION :

$23.84 - $30.73 Dependent on Experience
