Graphic Design Intern Jobs

PCC is seeking a graphic design intern to get hands-on graphic design experience in a fashion environment for two brands, Derek Lam 10 Crosby and ATM. This position will be working side by side with the in-house Creative Team.

Objective: To experience the day-to-day responsibilities of a creative team in fast-growing DTC fashion brands. Learn to translate brand concepts into creative assets, hone design & technical skills.

You will learn how to:

• Exercise sound judgment and be a true team player.
• Partner with Digital Designer to meet day-to-day design needs.
• Prepare creative presentations for biweekly review with marketing and creative teams.
• Design LinkedIn banners and other promotional materials for the brand.
• Manage and organize project files and final deliverables.
• Assist with internal retouching, including cropping, color correction and garment alterations.
• Assist with creating style out decks & other preproduction needs for seasonal photoshoots.
• Research design trends to stay relevant in the industry and against competitors.
• Create paid social carousel and static ads, focusing on Facebook and Instagram.
• Design and execute promotional designs for website, email, and social media.

Qualifications:

• Must be available 2-3 days from Monday to Thursday 10:00am-5:00pm
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Animation experience is a plus
• Must be a current junior or senior studying graphic design or equivalent - eligible to receive school credit.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating solid understanding of basic design foundations
• Must have interest in fashion & design
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
