As a Global Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations across various regions and countries. Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies in alignment with our business objectives. Identify areas for improvement, evaluate risks, and establish contingency plans for a resilient supply chain.
Supplier Management: Engage with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and cultivate strategic partnerships to ensure high-quality components, materials, and services. Continuously assess supplier performance and drive improvement initiatives.
Inventory Optimization: Utilize your analytical skills to analyze demand patterns, market trends, and sales forecasts, optimizing inventory levels across our global supply chain network while reducing carrying costs.
Logistics and Distribution: Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline transportation routes, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Coordinate international shipments and ensure compliance with regulations.
Demand and Supply Planning: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and translate them into actionable supply plans. Foster supply chain agility to meet dynamic customer demands.
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and disruptions, developing strategies to mitigate them and maintain a resilient supply chain.
Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, regularly analyzing data and providing actionable insights to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, fostering effective communication and alignment of supply chain activities.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role within the technology industry.
Strong understanding of global supply chain concepts, principles, and best practices.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics operations, and international trade regulations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, making strategic decisions based on complex data.
Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
Proficiency in supply chain software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across all levels.
Fluency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally to our warehouses.
