Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group is hiring for a Global HR Business Partner.

Under the direction of the Commercial Aircraft Group HR Director, the Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) supports the senior leadership team of the Finance/Contracts and Aftermarket functions to achieve the overall business objectives.

The HRBP will proactively identify, define and implement appropriate HR strategies to enable increased performance. The HRBP leads and manages the people management agenda and has overall accountability for the successful delivery of new and existing HR initiatives. The Global HRBP will be a member of the Commercial Aircraft Group Human Resources Team and contribute to strategy development, policies and decision making on HR issues.

Accountabilities:
  • Engender a best practice approach to people management, acting as coach, facilitator, and role model. Act as the guardian and champion of the Moog Culture and Philosophy.
  • Develop, own, and implement an HR strategy (in alignment with HR Centers of Excellence) that drives employee engagement and supports the delivery of the overall business strategy. Continually challenge the status quo and introduce new processes/practices or amend current ways of working to aid delivery of business strategy and help the business be financially successful and hit corporate objectives.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in organizational development, organizational design and change management. Continuously review the organization effectiveness and identify / implement changes needed to ensure the organization is set up to succeed.
  • Take ownership of the successful delivery and implementation of ‘business as usual’ activities. Lead Group wide or Moog wide projects that may have a global impact or participate in a significant Group wide or Moog wide project representing either HR or their business unit.
  • Successfully introduce/implement the HR operating model and proactively work to improve the effectiveness of the model on an ongoing basis. Collaborate and work in partnership with other HR areas (HR Operations, HR IT, Talent, and Reward CoEs), in the development and continual improvement of policies, processes and initiatives. Be the voice of the business with respect to other parts of HR.
  • Take ownership and lead the roll out (& subsequent actions) of critical talent management tasks such as the talent identification process (talent matrix / talent profile), performance management process and succession planning process. Own the talent pool (including periodic talent reviews) and ensure that the talent pipeline and bench strength is continuously improved to meet future business needs. This would include engagement in the talent acquisition process.
  • Develop strong customer relationships with the senior leaders and provide effective, value-added support to the leadership team that is focused on enabling business performance. Understand the strategic business objectives and contribute to the creation, execution and ongoing development and delivery of that strategy.
  • Take ownership and proactively manage employee metrics and ensure that data integrity standards are upheld.

Qualification Requirements:
  • An HR, Technical or Business Degree (vocational, professional, or advanced) or equivalent. An advanced qualification or certification in the field of Human Resources is desirable.
  • Proven ability to understand complex organizational issues in matrix environment
  • Experience working with, counselling, and influencing Senior Management to influence business and people related decisions.
  • Proven specific capabilities in: outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; analytical and problem-solving skills; organizational ability; facilitation skills; presentation skills.
  • Typically, 10 years of experience, ideally in a matrix environment. Additional experience in staffing, compensation, performance management, employee development, employee/labor relations, legal/compliance, organizational design and or direct people leadership/management is a plus.

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
