Introduction
The retail landscape is changing at a rapid pace. The boundaries between online and offline have never been more intertwined. In an effort to accelerate the omni-channel transformation agenda, PepsiCo invested in developing advanced digital sales solutions for our independent customers and, as a next step, wants to drive partnerships with other FCMGs companies to improve the customer experience by providing a one-stop shop & loyalty platform. With stronger digital engagement with our customers, we aim a continued profitable growth in our Traditional Trade channel.
Main purpose
Global B2B Commercial Partnerships Director will lead the discussions and implementation of digital commercial agreements with internal PepsiCo Business / Distributors / Other FCMG into the actual eB2B platform of PepsiCo. This platform already provides optimization and creates new opportunities for TT (Traditional Trade) and AFH (Away From Home) stores based on customer & shopper needs, and the idea with the partnerships would be to transform the platform into a one-stop shop for the customers, providing even more convenience for them. These digital solutions include online ordering, loyalty and customer engagement (such as analytic comparison and perfect store, among others) that can be delivered over multiple platforms such as website, mobile and tablet. This role will collaborate with a variety of functions within PepsiCo Global organization (Advanced Analytics, Perfect Store, IT, Commercial) as well as key stakeholders from Business Units/markets in scope to understand key business objectives and customer pain points, understand existing technology solutions and dependencies, develop & implement digital commercial strategies and build future commercial digital roadmap to continually transform the business forward. This role is the business lead for partnerships digital solutions and responsible for overall global value realization of this area, i.e. new joiners, portfolio extension, topline growth and productivity. Global B2B Commercial Partnerships Director will report to Global B2B Program Senior Director.

Responsibilities

  • Establish governance process & standard scorecards to track performance & problem solve issues and leverage insights to inform data-driven decision making
  • Work with Advanced Analytics Sector team to shape the digital data governance agenda of the above mentioned digital feature
  • Identify & share best practices and insights coming from each BU, other sectors and other external companies
  • Approach and negotiate with potential partners on the strategy around the partnership and oversee the execution
  • Manage the overall project budget and ensure value realization targets are achieved over the horizon of the implementation
  • Own future capability roadmap to develop next horizon of partnership features in light of evolving customer needs including roadmap design, business case development and implementation planning
  • Own alignment with BUs, Sector and Global teams on the prioritization and timing of detail features & capabilities to meet current and future state customer needs across partnership strategy
  • Lead engagement with external commercial and strategy teams to achieve timely delivery of deliverables
Compensation & Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $113,300 - $226,600• Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement• In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan

Qualifications

  • Modest travel required (25-50%).
  • Collaborative and honest – work with integrity as a valuable member of the global digital team, sharing best practice and building on others work to drive synergy, agility and pace of change across the sectors.
  • Project management – ability to manage multiple projects in a fast moving and ever changing environment. Preferably hands-on experience with agile development.

  • 8+ years proven experience in multi-national F&B organizations, working mainly in sales and projects implementation.
  • High leadership capacity to influence others. Ensure teamwork within an alignment culture and build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Cross-cultural abilities - able to understand different stakeholders needs, develop aligned plans in environments of diversity and uncertainty and work with a positive “make it happen” attitude.
  • Strong drive for results with a high degree of flexibility, as agendas and stakeholders change very often during the projects
  • 6+ years proven experience and a track record in digital product management within a B2C or B2B environment (preferably retail or ecommerce).
  • Good level of written & spoken English and Spanish.
  • Analytical skills – create robust analysis over digital platform’s data and meaningful insights to drive actions and highlight opportunities.
  • Business leader with proven track record of transforming commercial processes with high interest in and good understanding of digital business models and technology advances.
