Glazing Project Manager Jobs

• Ability to work independently, without Senior PM supervision.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills with customers, suppliers, architects, management & site personnel, etc.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to handle project management from acquisition of contract through close-out (such as RFI's, submittals, change orders, punch lists and close-out docs).
• Expertise in the following glass/glazing scopes; including but not limited to: glazed aluminum curtain walls, sliding glass doors, aluminum entrances, and storefronts, interior all glass entrances, windscreen, mirrors, louvers, window wall systems.
• Strong take-off and cost estimating skills specific to glass and glazing will be beneficial to the top candidates.
• Computer knowledge and efficiency.
• Strong vendor relationships, and competent knowledge of labor requirements.
• Understanding of contracts and risk management.
• Demonstrate leadership, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong decision making/problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• Preferably experience with utilizing project management software, spreadsheets and estimating software.
• 2 or more years' experience managing projects valued at $1 Million+
• Unitized Curtainwall experience is a plus!
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, structural drawings, shop drawings and all schedules as to understand project intent.
• Preferably 2 - 5+ years of Project Management experience (Storefront, Window Wall, Curtainwall, Structural Glass Walls).
• Project track record of finalizing under budget (if possible); maintain/manage accrued material, equipment, and labor costs.
