The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP. Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.
The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.
Job Summary:
The GIS Records Technician will support the Manager of GIS and Records Management ensuring all electronic and paper records are properly recorded and stored using the company taxonomy and nomenclature. This position will be the primary contact for information request processing and validating information prior to incorporation into the GIS or Records system by a GIS Analyst. This is an entry level position where the successful candidate will be expected to learn and develop.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support midstream Integrity and Compliance as assigned.
- Provide administrative support to the Manager of GIS and Records Management and the GIS Analysts.
- Maintain the system tracking all physical records.
- Ensure that all documents and records are correctly identified by the company nomenclature and taxonomy rules prior to being stored in electronic or physical filing systems.
- Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, and for the safety of company assets, employees, and the general public.
- Provide analytics and other information and feedback to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:
- Two (2) year associates degree in Geography, GIS, or computer science.
- Willing to attend and participate industry-sponsored conferences, seminars, training, and summits.
- Ability to used Microsoft Excel at an intermediate or advanced level.
- Basic understanding of filing systems.
- Must be willing to submit to DOT random drug & alcohol screening
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license
- Overnight travel to company locations and facilities for meetings, training, special projects, emergency planning, or information gathering will be required.
- Understanding of GIS systems and databases.
Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:
- Four (4) year Bachelor or Master’s Degree in GIS or Library Sciences.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in GIS, database management, and/or record system maintenance.
