Job Description
We are seeking a Geospatial Analyst - someone with analytic curiosity and problem-solving skills, open-source products, and general geospatial tradecraft. This person will support an R&D intelligence team that applies geospatial analysis and tradecraft to help solve our nation's most pressing Intelligence questions.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in geospatial analytics, statistical analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS) modeling support
  • Experience in compiling, acquiring, and processing raster and vector data and manages associated attribute tables
  • Experience in the use and application of geospatial technologies, geospatial analysis, and produces integrated GIS products
  • Experience identifying new geospatial and imagery exploitation techniques and methodologies and providing guidance on the techniques
  • Experience integrating advanced GIS technologies and imagery to support intelligence analysis
  • Proficiency in geospatial software packages including Esri’s ArcGIS and QGIS, and data formats such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Education & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience geospatial support
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position

Physical Requirements

  • Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region
