Job Description

We are looking for a Clerk to type information into our database from paper documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail.


Qualifications


• Strong organizational skills – ability to multi-task and prioritize work


• Attention to detail is a must!


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to type correspondence, answer phone calls, and take messages from various sources using professional grammar usage while communicating with customers, fellow employees, customers, vendors, etc


• Good time management skills – be able to work independently with little or no supervision while also being able to meet deadlines; be able to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities; be able to handle difficult tasks with attention to detail


• Basic knowledge of office equipment, such as printers, copiers, filing cabinets etc




Responsibilities


• The Data Entry Clerk position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties in a fast-paced environment


• Duties include entering data into the computer database, scanning documents, and typing up invoices and reports


• Typing up invoices and reports – prepare and type up invoices and reports using standard billing software


• Scanning documents – prepare and scan documents, such as bills, checks, insurance claims, and other billing documents


• Sort and organize invoices and reports


• Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure that inventory is always replenished


• Maintain a clean work area


• Other duties as assigned
