General Manager Jobs

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced General Manager to Lead the day-to-day operations of our FAA Part 145. The General Manager will need to meet performance goals, drive improvements to reduce costs, oversee manpower planning and staff development to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in a safe and professional manner. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of successful leadership, team building, project management, and a deep understanding of the aircraft maintenance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.
• Manage daily operations and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Other General Management Tasks and Responsibilities
• Federal Aviation Administration Coordinator/Liaison
• Oversee all aspects of the MRO
• Cultivate strong relationships with regulatory bodies, suppliers, clients, and internal departments.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing maintenance team.

Qualifications:

• A&P license is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and aviation management software.
• Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the aircraft maintenance industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent leadership and team building abilities.
