Job Overview: Our General Managers are Managing Partners responsible for the oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional member experience as well as a financially successful club in a non-judgmental environment. The Managing Partner will be accountable for leading a team of employees in a positive, motivating manner with continuous assistance in employee training and development. The Managing Partner commands a performance management culture that operates with speed and urgency in delivering outcomes.


Tasks And Responsibilities


  • Conduct all staff meetings, department training, department development meetings, and production daily huddles for clarity, focus, and execution on deliverables
  • Total 4-Wall club performance oversight, to include Personal Training, Group Fitness, Membership Sales, and all services that support the member experience
  • Has a command of all offerings, amenities, and equipment utilization
  • Ensure and monitor compliance and accuracy with all policies, procedures, and standards
  • Grow the business to profitability and energize the team around daily, weekly, and monthly objectives
  • Monitor and scoreboard performance of the staff to meet or exceed expected KPI standards
  • Establish team, department, and individual performance goals that align with club deliverables and business KPI standards
  • Ensure member resolutions are done timely and with a kind spirit, including exercising the twilight rule to ensure same day response time
  • Coach and develop team members to drive sales performance
  • Monitor inventory in the club and ensure timely restocking
  • Member focused in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ensure member retention is a key focus of the staff. Do Whatever It Takes and find a way to deliver the “Wow Experience”
  • Monitor employee payroll and scheduling ensuring the club is adequately staffed at all time
  • Maintain a crisp, clean facility with equipment operating 100 % of the time
  • Ability to recruit, hire and onboard amazing talent

Physical Demands


  • Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs
  • Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking


Required Education And Experience


  • 3 years of fitness facility or service-oriented management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field is a bonus, but not necessary
  • Must be able to work flexible/non-traditional hours including weekends and some holidays
  • Responsible for supervising a minimum of 15 employees plus Group Fitness team engagement
  • CPR/AED certified or can complete within 30 days from hire
