Retailer (Growing to 9 Sites from 4 Sites)

Location – South Florida (Hybrid: On Site Retail, Remote)

Position Overview: medical retail in Florida.As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our medical cannabis retail operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, optimizing processes including supply chain, working with cross functional team members embedded in our vertically integrated seed to sale operations, and also defining and adhering key performance metrics, enhancing customer satisfaction, driving point of sale profitability, and creating and fostering a common positive, productive, and inclusive work environment across all of our retail locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of cannabis or CPG equivalent retail management experience leadership, and operational knowledge. We are looking for a strong, “lead by example” motivator and thought leader.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
• Management of AS NEEDED business transformation
• Provide visionary leadership to multiple retail team members.
• Recruit, train, and mentor employees to ensure a high-performing, educated and 0 motivated retail workforce.
• Create, implement, maintain and adapt measurable and accountable retail-focused KPIs
• Foster a collaborative workplace culture that encourages innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance reviews.
2. Operational Excellence:
• Manage full Value Chain (Supply to Customer)
• Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Manage 4-Wall EBITDA for each medical retail location
• Manage key New Store Openings (project and construction management, vendors & associated logistics)
• Manage inventory levels, procurement, and supply chain activities to ensure product availability and optimal working capital management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing the medical; cannabis industry.
• Implement and maintain efficient processing workflows to maximize productivity and quality.

3. Customer Experience:
• Oversee the retail environment, ensuring a welcoming and knowledgeable customer experience
• Collaboratively manage new product launch processes and proactively address product life cycles within stores
• Implement initiatives to enhance customer engagement, loyalty, satisfaction
• Address customer feedback and concerns promptly and effectively integrating key findings into improvements in day to day operations.
4. Financial Management:
• Develop and manage retail level budgets, track and attest to financial performance, and implement a constant cost-saving opportunity environment.
• Analyze sales demand data, local market trends, and retail level financial reports to make informed business decisions.
• Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategies and cost effective sales promotions.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
• Keep retail teams up to date with evolving regulations related to the medical cannabis industry in Floridca.
• Ensure all operations, products, and processes are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
6. Health and Safety:
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of employees and customers by enforcing health and safety protocols.
• Implement and oversee security measures to safeguard assets, prevent theft or unauthorized access, and the overall safety of retail team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Proven experience (5+ years) Multi-Site Retail Management
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a Retail Leadership role (Director or above)
• Ideal experience (5+ years) in a retail management role within the cannabis, or related CPG industry.
• In-depth understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities required to build ROI-type relationships with cross functional team members.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry landscape.
• Proficiency in applying automation and software solutions to promote enhance productivity and transparency
