Job Description

Geller Advisors provides the following services to our clients: Investment Management, Strategic Financial Planning, Tax Services, CFO Services and Cyber Services, as well as bespoke financial and business advisory services.


Operations Analyst


The Operations Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical and project management support in two strategic areas: 1) internal initiatives for the MFO Leadership team and 2) internal/external initiatives for the Chief Client Officer (CCO). This role will report to and work in collaboration with the Chief of Staff (CoS) across these strategic areas to assist them in prioritizing and driving strategic initiatives focused on revenue growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness. A successful candidate should possess excellent research, analytical, business case development, and client relationship skills.


Your Impact


MFO Leadership Internal Initiatives (50% of time)


  • Preparing research and analysis to support financial analysis and management of the business including the annual budget process, annual business plans, P&L management, measuring progress against financial targets, client profitability analyses, metrics and benchmarking development, and other strategic initiatives
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports on behalf of the MFO Leadership for the Management Committee and/or Founder
  • Coordinate with the CoS, Client Operations and Marketing teams to ensure the MFO Leadership’s priorities are reflected appropriately in the project roadmap
  • Other special projects as needed
  • Support the CoS in facilitation of MFO Leadership objectives including building meeting agendas, identifying and aligning priorities, identifying and carrying out cross-team operational efficiencies


Chief Client Officer Internal/External Initiatives (50% of time)


  • Participate in prospect / client facing meetings
  • Consult with key stakeholders to deepen our understanding on how our operating teams deliver client-facing solutions and capture value
  • Provide analytical support on billable client engagements
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports on behalf of the CCO for the Management Committee and/or Founder
  • Collaborate with the CoS to track and analyze advisor performance via scorecards, time entry activity, Salesforce activity, quarterly business development plans, etc.
  • Track progress and develop KPIs to measure execution effectiveness of various business development strategies and their value-add to the business (e.g., impact on revenue, pipeline velocity, new prospects, profitability, broaden the utility of subject matter experts, etc.)
  • Partner with the CoS, Client Operations and Marketing team to finalize expectations for the advisor community and define metrics for measurement of success
  • Other special projects as needed
  • Collaborate with solution design teams, provide supporting analysis and research to selectively target value propositions that require refinement or strategy to scale

  • Must be located in the NYC area and able to work from our corporate office at least 2 days/week


We'd Love To See


  • 5-8 years of experience as operations analyst, business intelligence, management consulting or other related experience
  • BA/BS in business, finance, economics or other related field
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM databases (preferably Salesforce)
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills, with a proven ability to handle Excel modeling

The Base Salary Range For This Position Is


$135,000 - $165,000


Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits as well as the potential for an annual bonus consideration.
