Job Description
THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is seeking an experienced and dependable Game Lands Maintenance Worker to work in our State Game Lands. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career the Pennsylvania Game Commission could be the place for you!


DESCRIPTION OF WORK

A Game Land Maintenance Worker 1 performs semi-skilled work and assists with other duties. For example in this position, you will assist with maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. This position will also require you to assist with mowing, habitat management, and other duties as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
  • You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.
  • Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or
  • One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or
  • One year of construction equipment operation experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Necessary Special Requirements:
  • All positions are required to obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver’s License within one year of employment in this job.
  • All positions require possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
