Job Description
Overview:
Take a seat at our table with a Quality Control Furniture Inspector position at Jordan’s. In this warehouse job, you will open, assemble, and inspect all case good furniture; help identify issues and look for defects with merchandise while performing minor furniture repairs. This position pays $20/hour and works a schedule of Monday- Friday from 5:30 am – 2:00 pm. Who doesn’t love leaving at 2:00 pm?

Responsibilities:
Some of your duties and responsibilities may include:
  • Marks defective/damaged furniture; performs minor repair and touchup.
  • Opens, inspects, and assembles all upholstered, case good merchandise while maintaining minimum production standards.
  • Responsible for knowing all product specific characteristics, traits, procedures, parts, and assembly.
  • Has a working knowledge of vendor product defects to include defects in fabrics, wood and mechanisms.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn and help wherever needed

  • Proficient use of hand and power tools and ability to maintain a department standard.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment where you are on your feet for 8 hours per day, lifting up to 110 pounds
