Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Fundraising Coordinator for our client, a mission-driven, energetic team focused on ensuring an individual's right to seek justice through civil courts. This is a wonderful, direct-hire, full-time, hybrid opportunity in Washington D.C.

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the planning and execution of activities focused on major donors.
- Traveling domestically 1-2 times a month.
- Organize and execute stewardship and recruitment events.
- Inspire and coordinate volunteers engaged in major gift solicitation.
- Identify, develop relationships with, and solicit major gifts from potential donors through research and cultivation.
- Oversee departmental goals, and objectives and provide weekly progress reports
- Manage and update the donor database.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, CDO, client leadership, Board of Governors, and volunteer to support stewardship and fundraising efforts.
- Maintain regular communication with donors to foster relationships and provide updates.
What You Have To Offer
- Previous nonprofit and/or membership association experience preferred.
- Experience in writing and preparing fundraising reports.
- 2+ years’ experience in responsible fundraising and/or high-dollar membership position and customer interaction with VIPs
- Strategic thinking abilities with a team-oriented mindset that can respond effectively to complex situations with integrity, diplomacy, and a passion for achieving results.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, including in-person, telephone, and email communication, with the ability to handle VIPs with grace.
- Proven fundraising ability with exceptional writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.
- Familiarity with common database management and donor software programs.
Compensation
