ABOUT US More Clean of Texas is an exterior maintenance company working with both commercial and residential customers to maintain clean and beautiful properties. Our Sweeping Division strives to provide our customers with clean and safe parking areas, sidewalks, roads, and worksites while being environmentally conscious and responsible. WHAT TO EXPECT This position is for an entry level Highway Debris Crew who has a strong work ethic and a positive, team centered attitude. Additionally, it is important that they are willing to assist where they are needed, willing to learn new techniques, and to be committed to maintaining a safe work environment. They will be driving a company vehicle while they are on the job but they will need to consider transportation to and from work at the More Clean Shop. Training will be provided on all aspects of the job, including setting expectations and goals for your career while on our More Clean team. Normal hours of operation are overnights from 10pm - 6am, but some projects may require hours outside of normal business hours; sufficient notice is always given for projects requiring non-standard hours.
REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 23 years of age Valid Texas Driver License (or ability to get Texas license within 30 days if current license is out of state) and clean driving record Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed Must be able to work in all weather conditions Must be capable of performing manual labor daily to move and clean up bulk debris on highways and frontage roads Ability to pass background check and drug screen Ability to utilize Gmail and iPad technology Must be able to read maps Must be able to follow directions with a keen attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, our drivers are routinely required to drive, stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, and/or bend. They must occasionally lift/carry up to 80 pounds, and/or push/pull up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? More Clean of Texas provides on-the-job training with a 90 day probationary period. Retention bonuses will be issued at 30 and 90 day milestones. Employees will receive $150 after 30 days of employment and will receive $450 after 90 days of employment for a total of $600. Commercial Driver's License is required for this position.
