Job Description

Fellowship Place, a busy non-profit agency located in New Haven, seeks a Full Time Junior Accountant. Candidate must possess strong analytical skills, attention to details and be a team player. Responsibilities include payroll, compiling journal entries, assist with month-end and year-end closings, bank deposits, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Position reports to the Accounting Supervisor.

Excellent computer skills required, including QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Donor Perfect a plus. Ideal candidate will have Non Profit and State Reporting experience.

Salary Range- $27.50 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. 35 hours per week in office, with occasional overtime. Excellent benefits including health Insurance, paid time off and 403(b) plan.
