Key Responsibilities

• Work with software engineers, UX/UI designers, and product owners to assist meeting engineering timelines
• Build mobile/web applications from the ground up to support existing and new projects

The position is based in Palo Alto, CA at the Porsche Digital Inc, Headquarters. We are working in a hybrid work environment with onsite and remote work days.

For the position of Full Stack Software Engineer, the applicant will receive a salary in the range of $125,000.00 and $150,000.00.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on development and production delivery experience with a broad mix of web application languages and technologies
• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer software, or related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Databases
• Strong understanding of cloud services, e.g., AWS, Azure
• Strong understanding of modern scalable production class server architectures
• Proficient level of expertise writing software in a fast-moving engineering team
• Efficient programming capabilities with many of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React, HTML4/5

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience with continuous delivery and integration pipelines
• Extensive knowledge of end-to-end data flow between containerized services and mobile clients
• Professional-level programming practices
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end application design for performance and usability
• Extensive experience with source control, e.g., Git, Bitbucket

Other Skills

• Familiar with working on a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with embedded microcontrollers is a plus
• Familiarity with iOS and other mobile development is a plus
• Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Continuous Integration, TDD, BDD, Infrastructure as Code etc.
• Familiar with quick code iterations, failing quickly and retrying

Physical requirements

• Must be able to work in an open office environment.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to complete tasks in an open space environment.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
