POSITION


Reframe Data Services is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to help develop several data-driven technology platforms that will have a significant impact on politics, scientific knowledge creation, and healthcare.


The Software Developer will be responsible for the development and modifications of Reframe Data Services software products. Thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post-implementation. The Senior Developer has the ability to present at the various architecture review boards and display a strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole space. The candidate will be creative, comfortable working in small teams and coordinating with US and non-US-based developers.


Responsibilities


  • Guide and direct work on multiple projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a software systems
  • Identify issues and implement solutions for these issues
  • Develop system technical architecture documentation and design diagrams
  • Collaborate with the UI/UX and Product Teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed functionality and designs
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Maintain code quality and organization
  • Implement analytics algorithms
  • Implement unit testing. Ensure development testing is complete and the code is ready for QA
  • Translate requirements, storyboards, and use cases into functional applications
  • Integrate large datasets
  • Research new technologies, and algorithms. Adapt and implement these technologies, and practices
Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent)
  • Strong technical, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and active listening
  • 7+ years of experience in the design and development of mission-critical high-performance web-based applications
  • Strong coding skills
  • Ability to work as full stack developer including front, back-ed, and DB development
  • Located near Bethesda, MD
