Job Description
GEICO Technology Solutions is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Senior or Principal Engineer to join our GEICO Reliability and Availability Engineering Team. You will be responsible for building enterprise level modern applications using the latest technologies and work mainly on UI side while contributing API and other layers.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Technical Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD/Continuous testing etc.
  • Expert in UI development and experienced in using modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular and VueJS
  • Proven experience in .NET & C# development at enterprise level applications in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with UI testing framework Cypress, Jest etc.
  • Used OAuth 2.0 to authenticate and authorize frontend app
  • 6+ years of experience on web frontend applications in Agile Scrum environment
  • Experience migrating VueJS to React is a plus
  • Azure cloud experience: Deploying apps to Azure App Service, ACR/ACS, AKS etc.
  • Familiarity with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
  • Strong hands-on experience building production applications with React, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit
  • Experience working with UI/UX designers
  • Experience building services with REST APIs
Other Requirements:
  • Strong team player with a desire to learn and mentor by collaborating with peers and other DevOps members across the organization.
  • Preferred if candidate has a Microsoft Certifications (AZ 900).
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Experience with Agile practices, methodologies (Sprint planning, daily scrums, backlog grooming and updating Azure DevOps artifacts to ensure work is tracked appropriately).
  • Preferred if candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.

Annual Salary
$82,000.00 - $204,500.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
