Ready to learn and get hands-on-experience? Jane is looking for a Front end Engineering Intern to join our team for 12 weeks, beginning on May 15th, 2023. This person will work closely with our Engineering team and assist them with various tasks and projects. If you’re currently a student looking for experience in Front end engineering and eager to learn from a growing eCommerce company, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

  • Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and best practices
  • Test web application functionality and troubleshoot issues
  • Capstone project with end of program presentation for executive and senior leadership team
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of software architects, developers, quality engineers, designers, and product managers to improve the stability of our web application

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or a student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, HTTP, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for web development and a strong desire to learn new technologies and programming languages
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Git and code editors
