Job Description

Entry-level Office Assistant

$18.00 Hourly

Job Type: Part-Time, 2 days a week, 9 AM - 5 PM

Cortex is looking for an Entry-level Office Assistant to join our US office in Fairfield, New Jersey.

We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake various office support tasks and work diligently under pressure.

This person will be comfortable working with high attention to detail and discretion and incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Key Responsibilities:

·Organize office and assist in ways that optimize procedures

·Monitor the level of supplies and handle shortages

·Resolve office-related malfunctions

·Maintain trusting relationships with customers and colleagues

·Be a backup to the office manager as needed.

·Assist customers based on their needs.

·Reply to emails.

·Supporting the sales team with the marketing and logistics requirements

·Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events

Skills and Qualifications

·1 year of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably administrative or clerical.

·Native English level, Hebrew, and / or Spanish are an advantage.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including solid spelling, grammar, and punctuation

·Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

·Strong time-management skills, strong attention to detail, and multitasking ability

·Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently

·Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an aptitude for learning new software and systems

·High school diploma or equivalent

·Must be able to reliably commute
