Job Description

As the Front Desk Receptionist at Miyu Beauty & Wellbeing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our clients. You will be the first point of contact, responsible for greeting guests, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks. We are looking for a customer-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and Share monthly reports on client feedback, including positive reviews and complaints received.
  • Schedule and manage client appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficient use of studio resources, and ensuring a smooth and timely process
  • Demonstrate a positive and helpful attitude, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for clients and staff
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining proper documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management by tracking restocking needs (Props, towels, bathroom and other supplies)
  • Handle client complaints, concerns, or issues in a professional and empathetic manner, striving to resolve them effectively and promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including tidying up yoga props and keeping the nail studio area presentable
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of studio policies, promotions, and pricing to address client queries accurately.
  • Provide detailed information about studio offerings, including fitness classes, workshops, and nail services, and assist clients in choosing the right options for their needs
  • Collaborate with instructors, nail technicians, and other staff members to ensure smooth studio operations and excellent customer service.
  • Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients regarding appointments, class schedules, and studio services


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role, preferably in a spa, wellness center, or hospitality setting.
  • Proficient in using phone systems, POS software, and basic office equipment.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle various client needs and requests.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and friendly demeanor.
