Job Description
Front Desk Receptionist Introduction Classic Granite & Marble has a brand new 98,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art fabrication and production facility with an award-winning showroom located in Powhatan, Va. We carry an inventory of approximately 9,000 slabs with 300 different colors in our indoor facility. We handle all projects from beginning to end, which includes laser templating, CAD, fabrication, and installation. Our clients include both residential homeowners as well as building contractors. Job Summary This person works closely with our Showroom Manager and is responsible for managing incoming clients with a smile and professionalism via telephone and in person. This person ensures that our showroom is always ready for clients. The Front Desk supports the day-to-day activities of our owners as well as the Director of Sales; this person must also clearly communicate with sales account managers as well as the logistics & routing department. The Front Desk exhibits excellent customer service skills and maintains the "white glove" standard s t hat CGM customers have come to expect. Responsibilities and Duties Handle a multi-line telephone system in a professional manner Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment Ensure that the showroom is ready for clients before 8 am, and performs closing activities at 5 pm Responsible for updating daily sales walk-in rotation schedule, and being aware of Account Manager's schedules Assigns Account Managers to help clients entering the showroom, making sure that clients are assisted within five minutes or less Detail-oriented and effective at multi-tasking Must have a team mentality, be flexible and willing to learn Strong communication skills Exceptional organizational skills Ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize accordingly Outstanding follow-through skills with high attention to detail Excellent customer service capabilities; be patient both in person and over the phone Additional tasks as assigned Qualifications Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Must be reliable Ability to work Saturday with a coordinating weekday off. Ability to quickly learn internal, proprietary software Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Word and Excel.
