  • Schedule: Full-time schedule. Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. More details upon interview.

Job Summary


Summary: Checks guests in and out of the hotel. Resolves challenges throughout guests' stays. Promotes hotel services and amenities to guests and upsells products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with record retention, Standard Operating Procedures and daily responsibilities.
  • Answers, records and processes guest calls, messages, requests, questions and concerns.
  • Coordinates with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms and report guest concerns.
  • Practices safety standards at all times.
  • Runs daily reports, identify any special requests and check reports for accuracy.
  • Answers telephones using appropriate etiquette, transfers calls to the right person or department; takes and relays messages.
  • Follows up with guests to ensure issues have been met to their satisfaction.
  • Assigns rooms according to guest request and preferences whenever possible.
  • Balances and drops receipts according to accounting specifications.
  • Processes all payment types, including room charges and cash, check, debit and credit transactions.
  • Processes all check-outs; resolves issues related to late disputed charges.
  • Welcomes and acknowledges each guest with a smile, eye contact and friendly greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
  • Communicates parking procedures to guests, dispatch bell staff and valet staff as necessary.
  • Completes designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Speaks to guests and coworkers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
  • Processes all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms and activating room keys.
  • Anticipates guests' service needs by asking questions, listening to guest preferences and taking action when possible.
  • Provides guests directions and information regarding the property and local points of interest.

  • Paid Time Off: Full-time & Part-time employees will accrue vacation beginning day of hire and accrue for each hour worked. Hourly accrual rate is .01923 not to exceed 40 hours
  • Holidays: Full-time and Part-time Associates will receive Six (6) paid holidays; eligible after 90 days of employment
  • Sector Paid Sick Leave: Up to five (5) days of paid sick time depending upon month hired; full-time associates eligible after six (6) months of employment
