Freelance Project Manager Jobs

JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will manage the workflow of all aspects of multi-channel client projects (including digital asset creation, videos, localization) from job conception to release. Act as primary hub for circulation of jobs at all stages and ensure team adherence to production schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage project scope, timeline and budget (burn rate) and execute change control when additional requests for features or functionality are made
• Estimate timelines, budgets and resources on a per-project basis
• Ensure every necessary step of project scope is accounted for within the schedule and clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies
• Assign individual resource responsibilities, help identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of project
• Appropriately prioritize and manage the workflow of new work requests received from our client and various digital partners
• Manage day-to-day tasks, have in-depth involvement to allow for early identification of potential challenges and insure on-time project deliverables
• Lead weekly project status meetings and report on project status
• Proactively communicate the status of deliverables with our external stakeholders by providing accurate details and dependencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in digital banner production is a plus
• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, information systems or a related field
• Technical skills: Mac fluent, Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), Cloud Content Management (Google Drive, Box)
• Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines while managing multiple projects
• 3+ years project management experience managing budgets, timelines and people in an agency or related environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Ability to work collaboratively with production artists and in large cross-functional teams
